Turnaround starts late April, continuing for approximately 7 weeks. Camp and Travel Allowance provided even if you take the bus! **
Pipefitter Lead Hands:
- Assist with planning and organizing day-to-day completion of projects supporting production plans.
- Supervise, organize, and oversee tasks and work assigned to employees.
- Demonstrate knowledge of functional operation of various piping system components by measuring, cutting, threading, grooving, and bending of pipes, valves, and fittings.
- Layout, assemble, fabricate, maintain, and repair piping systems which are pressurized or carry water, steam, chemicals, or fuel used in heating, cooling, lubricating and other processes.
- Hydrotest and install fabricated pipe spools within structural steel modular assemblies, adding designed supports as required.
- Check for system leaks and troubleshoot fitting errors.
- Maintain all tools, work area and equipment.
- Interpret client and company supplied construction fabrication drawings and specifications.
- Red-line update drawings to an as-built condition.
Position Qualifications:
- 1-3 Years Supervisory or Leadership Experience.
- Registered Journeyperson or Apprentice Certification.
- Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS 2020) Certification.
- H2S Alive Certification.
- Energy Safety Canada Fall Protection Certification.
- Energy Safety Canada Confined Space Certification.
- Energy Safety Canada Aerial Work Platform Certification.
- Valid Class 5 Drivers License (no restrictions) and clean 3-year Drivers Abstract.
- Fit Test.
- Meet physical strength and stamina requirements.
