- Provide lessons to students of all ages and skill levels
- Develop and implement lesson plans tailored to individual student needs and goals
- Teach music theory, sight-reading, and proper technique
- Create a positive and engaging learning environment for students
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Prepare students for recitals, competitions, and performances
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with students, particularly in a teaching or tutoring capacity
- Knowledge of childhood development and early childhood education principles
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit different learning styles and abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, enthusiasm, and a passion for music education
Note: Experience in theater, ballet, dance, or other related fields is a plus but not required.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 6 - 15 per week
