We are looking for a motivated and compassionate Physiotherapy Assistant (Volunteer) to join our team and gain valuable clinical experience in a professional healthcare setting.

Position Overview

As a Physiotherapy Assistant Volunteer, you will support our registered physiotherapists in providing excellent patient care and ensuring a smooth clinic flow. This is an excellent opportunity for students or recent graduates in physiotherapy, kinesiology, or health sciences who wish to gain hands-on experience in a clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities

Assist physiotherapists with patient preparation and exercise supervision.o Set up and clean treatment areas before and after sessions.o Demonstrate or guide patients through basic therapeutic exercises under supervision.o Maintain equipment and clinic hygiene standards.o Support administrative tasks such as scheduling, chart filing, and documentation.o Provide a friendly, professional, and caring environment for patients.
Qualifications

Enrolled in or recently completed a Physiotherapy Assistant, Kinesiology, or Health Sciences program.o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.o Reliable, punctual, and eager to learn.o Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.o Previous clinical or volunteer experience (an asset but not required).
