If you interested in making a difference and being part of a highly skilled interdisciplinary team that includes dedicated professional practice support, GBGH wants YOU! The Physiotherapist provides physiotherapy services on an inpatient basis and supervises Rehabilitation Assistants.QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCEThe ideal candidate will possess the following:

  • Master's degree or equivalent from an approved university Physiotherapy program
  • Registration with the College of Physiotherapy of Ontario
  • Demonstrated satisfactory work performance and attendance history
  • Previous experience working within neurologic, cardiorespiratory, orthopaedic or geriatric populations in inpatient settings preferred
  • Self-directed, independent practitioner also willing to share clinical skills
  • Demonstrated leadership, critical thinking, communication, organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work as an independent practitioner while collaborating with an interdisciplinary healthcare team
  • Bilingual - English and French an asset
  • PREFERRED
  • Currently rostered for 02 titration or willingness to roster within 2 weeks of start date
  • Qualified Physiotherapy residents encouraged to apply
