SUPERINTENDENT OF SOLID WASTE OPERATIONS (Permanent, Full-time)NATURE OF POSITION:The Superintendent of Solid Waste Operations contributes to the effective operation of solid waste services throughout the Regional District by coordinating, providing leadership, and directing a wide range of services, programs and projects related to solid waste management including the Regional District\'s active landfills, closed landfills, and transfer station operations. The Superintendent provides direction and guidance to assigned staff members.They are directly involved in recruitment, performance management, training and coaching, communicating job expectations and appraising their performance. The Superintendent oversees the work of various contractors/consultants and is accountable for the safe and efficient use of Regional District resources equipment and materials, and the administration and evaluation of service and construction contracts.The Superintendent of Solid Waste Operations reports to the Manager of Solid Waste Operations.DUTIES AND QUALIFICATIONS: As set out in the job description.SALARY: The salary range for this position is $77,314 to $96,720 (2024 rate) and will be commensurate with years of experience.POSTING: Internal/ExternalApply with a cover letter and resume via the Regional District of Fraser-Fort George\'s Website:JOB DESCRIPTION: See attached
