Apollo Applied Research is a virtual medical clinic offering its patients an accessible path to medical cannabis treatment. We offer effective treatments for many chronic health conditions such as pain, anxiety, sleep disorders, PTSD and more through an evidence-based approach to empower our patients to take control of their overall health. We have a team of experienced health care professionals dedicated to patient care and medical cannabis education. We are actively seeking new and better ways to treat our patients' illnesses with medical cannabis across Canada.

The Opportunity
We are excited to expand our team of physicians who hold licenses in Quebec and are currently looking for part-time work.

ResponsibilitiesProvide virtual consultations and medical cannabis prescriptions for patients when it is deemed an appropriate treatment option Help educate patients on the use of cannabis as a medicine Supporting patients who have CNESST claims Follow up with patients and monitor response to dosage and cannabinoids prescribed Other duties assigned.

ExperienceMedical degree, registration and in good standing with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of your province Excellent communication skills, written and verbal Demonstrated ability to work independently and to manage a busy workload Team-oriented approach with existing team members and physicians Must be highly organized and have a good sense of time management Informed and abreast of scientific research and/or willing to learn more about the industry Experience in pain management or mental health is an asset Previous work with pain diagnosis and/or medical cannabis is a big asset Bilingual

ResponsabilitesOffrir des consultations virtuelles et prescrire du cannabis medical aux patients lorsque cela est juge approprie comme option de traitement Eduquer les patients sur l'utilisation du cannabis a des fins therapeutiques Soutenir les patients ayant des demandes de remboursement aupres de la CNESST Assurer le suivi des patients et surveiller leur reponse au dosage et aux cannabinoides prescrits Autres taches assignees

ExperienceDiplome de medecine, inscription en regle aupres du College des medecins et chirurgiens de votre province Excellentes aptitudes a la communication, tant a l'oral qu'a l'ecrit Capacite demontree a travailler de facon autonome et a gerer une charge de travail importante Esprit d'equipe et capacite a collaborer avec les membres de l'equipe et les medecins Sens aigu de l'organisation et excellente gestion du temps Connaissance et interet pour la recherche scientifique et/ou volonte d'en apprendre davantage sur le secteur Experience en gestion de la douleur ou en sante mentale (un atout) Experience anterieure en diagnostic de la douleur et/ou en cannabis medical (un atout majeur) Bilingue
