Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our Rheumatology team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background and be committed to providing high-quality patient care across various settings. This role involves working collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive medical services, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.

Duties

Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations and vital signs monitoring. Administer medications, injections, and treatments as prescribed, adhering to aseptic techniques. Maintain accurate medical records using EMR systems such as Oscar while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. Educate patients on health management, disease prevention, and lifestyle modifications through health coaching.

Skills

Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in the following areas:

Experience with ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding for accurate medical billing. Familiarity with CPT coding practices related to various medical procedures. Knowledge of infectious disease care protocols and infection control measures. Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and diagnostic evaluation techniques.

Pay: $32.13-$67.46 per hour

College of Physicians and Surgeons Ontario license for PA (required)
