Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled PHP Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background with PHP, and will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining web applications. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a passion for developing high-quality software solutions.

Duties

Develop and maintain web applications using PHP and related technologies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. Write clean, maintainable code while adhering to best practices in software development. Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members. Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance and usability. Implement CI/CD processes to streamline deployment and integration workflows. Work in an Agile environment, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Requirements

Proficiency in PHP programming language with a solid understanding of software development principles. Experience with Bash Unix shell scripting is preferred. Familiarity with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases. Knowledge of ASP.NET and TypeScript is a plus. Experience with front-end frameworks such as Angular is desirable. Strong understanding of CI/CD practices and tools. Ability to work collaboratively within an Agile team environment. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Basic Networking & IT Support (Secondary Role - 20%)

Set up and maintain routers, switches, and Wi-Fi networks. Troubleshoot internet connectivity and office network issues. Install and configure printers, workstations, and basic hardware. Act as the first point of contact for IT-related queries from staff. Coordinate with external vendors for major IT or network issues.

Pay: $17.20-$26.00 per hour
