We are currently seeking a full-time Pharmacy Manager to join our team!

POSITION SUMMARY
The Pharmacy Manager will hold the title of Designated Manager for the facility as per the Ontario College of Pharmacists requirement.
The Pharmacy Manager is responsible for the management and coordination of pharmacy activities at the Mississauga site. The role is responsible for the day-to-day management of the pharmacy team ensuring that standards of practice and legislated/corporate/departmental requirements are met. The role will ensure that quality of service delivery is optimized. This role is accountable for risk management and adherence to corporate standard operating procedures (SOPs). These responsibilities also include assisting in the planning and controlling of the pharmacy operational budget.
The Pharmacy Manager is responsible for fostering an efficient pharmacy team that maximizes patient safety and customer service effectiveness. The Pharmacy Manager will direct, guide, and mentor the pharmacy staff within the department, and has a sound knowledge of pharmacy laws and regulations. The incumbent must ensure that all functions are performed on a timely and efficient basis so that patients receive quality products with 100% customer satisfaction. The Pharmacy Manager has extensive knowledge of ODB reimbursement, and must have excellent problem-solving skills as they are very frequently called upon to resolve a multitude of inter-departmental issues. 70% of the duties are performed according to established policies and procedures. 30% of the duties require independent thinking and individual initiative.
Qualifications:
Pharmacy Degree (BScPhm or PharmD)
Licensed pharmacist in good standing with the Ontario College of Pharmacy
Three years' pharmacy practice experience, management experience preferred
Previous experience in an IV sterile compounding environment (hospital or community) is an asset
Skills:
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
Strong attention to detail with the ability to multi-task and handle fluctuating workloads
Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills
Excellent continuous improvement skills
Strong interpersonal skills and positive leadership qualities
Ability to handle multiple demands made simultaneously under short time constraints.
Excellent customer service skills and the ability to collaborate with all levels both inside and outside the organization
Proven ability to adhere to standards & procedures and maintain confidentiality
