Position Overview:

As the Pharmacy Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the pharmacy, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, provide leadership to the pharmacy team, and deliver exceptional care to patients. This role is ideal for a pharmacist who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has strong clinical judgment, and is passionate about addiction medicine and harm reduction.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the pharmacy team with a focus on clinical excellence and compassionate care Ensure compliance with provincial/federal regulations and OAT-specific guidelines (e.g., methadone, buprenorphine) Review and verify prescriptions, dispense medications, and counsel patients as needed Collaborate with prescribers and local clinics to optimize patient outcomes Maintain accurate and confidential records by regulatory requirements Oversee inventory management, ordering, and quality assurance procedures Provide mentorship, training, and performance management for pharmacy staff

Qualifications:

Licensed and in good standing with BC College of Pharmacists Previous experience in a pharmacy management (OAT) Demonstrated leadership experience or interest in management Strong knowledge of OAT protocols and harm-reduction practices Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills Proficiency with winRx CPR and First Aid Certification an asset
