Overview:

We are currently looking for a dedicated pharmacist to be our pharmacy team manager/licensee. This is a great opportunity to experience a pharmacy in downtown Edmonton.

Work hours: Monday-Friday, 9AM-5PM

Tasks and Responsibilities:

Perform patient focused clinical services as deemed eligible and appropriate for the patients and document accordingly Administer injections/immunizations Accurately dispense all prescriptions - including verifying and checking prescriptions Provide professional advice and applicable dialogue with patients on prescription and OTC products Supervising and directing pharmacy assistants Counsel of patients in regards to new and additional medications Other tasks necessary to the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy

Requirements/Education:

Licensed and in good standing as a pharmacist with the Alberta College of Pharmacy Minimum of 1 year of experience working as a pharmacist in Alberta Computer proficiency with Kroll Software Injection Certification and valid CPR certification Additional Prescribing Authority (preferred)

Qualifications and Skills

:

Excellent written and oral communication skills. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Very strong interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.. Attention to detail Ability to work independently and as a team member Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced environment
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $65.00-$70.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week

Experience:

pharmacy: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:

pharmacist license in Alberta/Canada (required)
