Job Description

Ebbeling Pharmacy is an independent community pharmacy located in the East Kildonan neighborhood of Winnipeg that has been in business for over 60 years. We are seeking an enthusiastic, results driven pharmacy assistant to join our pharmacy team.

We are currently seeking 1 part-time Pharmacy Assistant.

The pharmacy assistant will report directly to the pharmacy manager and work collaboratively with pharmacy and front store staff to provide patients with exceptional care.

Key responsibilities of a pharmacy assistant at Ebbeling Pharmacy include:

Prescription intake Count, package, and label prescription medications Answering phone calls Maintain drug inventory Place and receive daily medication orders Compliance packaging of prescriptions Maintain a clean work environment Operation of cash register
QUALIFICATIONS:

Previous experience working in a pharmacy is an asset Outstanding interpersonal skills Strong English verbal and written communication skills Commitment to providing exceptional customer service Proficient with computer software Strong time management and organizational skills
Although hours worked and days off will be flexible, the successful applicant(s) must be able to work until early evening and occasional Saturdays. The salary and benefits package will be competitive within industry standards.

The start date is as soon as possible.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.00-$20.00 per hour
