About the Position:



RX Connect Specialty Pharmacy is seeking a dedicated Billing Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring accurate and timely billing for our patients' medications and services. If you are detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about helping people access the medications they require, we encourage you to apply.

Duties and Responsibilities

Process and submit insurance claims for prescription medications and related services. Verify insurance information, including eligibility and coverage. Resolve billing discrepancies and follow up on outstanding claims. Coordinate with patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies to address billing inquiries and issues. Maintain accurate billing records and documentation. Collaborate with the pharmacy team to ensure seamless and efficient billing processes. Stay up-to-date on insurance policies and billing regulations. Assist with other pharmacy duties as needed.

Job Requirements

Proficient in Kroll order entry and third party adjudication/billing (minimum 2 years of experience) Retail or community pharmacy experience (minimum 2 years of experience)

Minimum 1 year of pharmacy billing experience

Excellent communication and customer service skills Effective organizational skills and excellent time management skills with the proven ability to multi-task Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve issues independently in an effective and efficient manner Detail oriented with the ability to work under minimal supervision
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
