Pharmacy Assistant - Full-time or Part-time

Schedule:

Store hours are M-F 9am to 7pm, Sat 10am-6pm, Sun 10am-2pm, closed statutory holidays

Hourly Rate:

$21 to 26/hour, experience and performance-based + benefits

An independent community pharmacy in the heart of downtown Vancouver is seeking a full-time (or part-time for the right candidate) Pharmacy Assistant. Our mission is to engage with the West End residents and the broader 2SLGBTQI+ community to increase knowledge and access to healthcare. We are seeking to add to our amazing pharmacy team immediately in the new year!

Roles and Responsibilities:

Assist in the managing of daily workflow, from intake, data-entry, and preparation of prescriptions to cash-out and inventory management Preparation of daily, weekly, monthly orders, and compliance packaging Receive, order, restock, and maintain front-store and pharmacy inventory Answering phone calls, messages, emails, etc. and relaying accurate information and messages when required Maintaining an accurate filing and record-keeping system Maintain a clean and clutter-free workspace and an environmentally-conscious waste and recycling system Assisting the pharmacy team in day-to-day duties and day-to-day customer service tasks

Experience:

Work experience in a pharmacy environment Comfortable with pharmacy computer and printer equipment and common computer programs Pharmacy processing program experience (Applied Robotics WinRx) Working knowledge of MSP and BC Pharmacare programs and policies Working knowledge of third-party extended health adjudication and policies Cash, debit, credit card, and point of sale experience

Pay: $21.00-$26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 - 40 per week
