Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and organized

Pharmacy Assistant

to work under the direct supervision of a licensed Pharmacist and Store Manager. The successful candidate will support pharmacy operations by handling administrative, clerical, and customer service tasks in a professional healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

Support the pharmacist in maintaining compliance with all

federal, provincial, and local regulations

, as well as internal

Policies and Procedures (P&Ps)

Answer phone calls and assist customers in a courteous and professional manner Perform

prescription data entry

accurately and efficiently Ensure

correct labeling

and proper handling of products Assist in maintaining appropriate

inventory levels

and reorder stock as needed Receive, store, and organize medications and supplies in the appropriate conditions Participate in

physical inventory counts

and audits Help manage front-store products, operate the

outbound post office

, and perform

cashier duties

as required Communicate effectively with all members of the pharmacy team Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum

high school diploma

Experience with

Kroll

and

PharmaNet

systems Prior

pharmacy experience

required Strong organizational skills; punctual, reliable, and detail-oriented Excellent

customer service

and communication skills Proficient in using computers and related equipment Ability to reach, lift, and sort inventory boxes (lifting within employee capacity; any health limitations must be disclosed to the Supervisor)
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $24.00-$26.00 per hour
