Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Assistant to join our healthcare team. This role provides vital support in pharmacy operations, ensuring efficient medication dispensing and patient care. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of medication management, and patient interaction in English/ Cantonese and Mandarin , with experience in retailed pharmacy settings preferred. Duties

Assist licensed pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately Manage inventory by stocking shelves and ordering supplies as needed Enter prescription data into pharmacy systems with attention to detail Provide excellent patient care by answering questions and offering guidance under supervision Verify prescriptions for accuracy and completeness in accordance with medical orders Maintain confidentiality of patient information following OCP regulations Support medication administration processes and documentations as required Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy area to meet safety standards

Experience

Prior hospital or pharmacy technician experience is highly desirable Knowledge of medical terminology related to medications and patient care Experience in patient care roles demonstrating strong communication skills Familiarity with medication administration procedures is a plus Previous experience working with pharmacy management software is advantageous
