We are looking for a full-time Pharmacy Assistant for our pharmacy.

Good communication skills, both verbal and written. Excellent interpersonal skills when communicating with patients, their caregivers or health care providers. Organized and able to manage time well while ensuring accuracy and precision. Self-motivated and driven to complete daily tasks in a timely fashion. Willing and able to help fellow team members with tasks as necessary. Dependable
Common day-to-day activities include, but are not limited to:

Attending to patients in the pharmacy as well communicating with family members or those in the patient's line of care. Intake and processing of prescriptions appropriately. Blister packaging and preparation/labelling of prescriptions. Maintaining the inventory of prescription and front store products (including receiving, returning, and expiry date checking). Handling the cash register. Assisting in general day-to-day activities (e.g. refilling supplies, recycling, etc.)
The position's work hours are Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm. We are closed on holidays.

Start date is immediate upon hiring. Wages ($22-$24/hr) vary depending on the applicant's experience and qualifications. Additional benefits to be discussed. Previous pharmacy experience is an asset but not a requirement, training will be provided to the successful applicant.
