Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will support the pharmacy staff in delivering exceptional patient care and ensuring the efficient operation of the pharmacy. Your contributions will be vital in assisting with medication administration, managing inventory, and providing excellent service to our patients.

Duties

Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately. Maintain an organized inventory of pharmaceuticals and supplies. Process prescription orders and ensure proper labeling. Support patient care by answering questions and addressing concerns. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Utilize medical terminology effectively in communication and documentation. Perform clerical duties such as filing, data entry, and record keeping.

Experience

Previous experience as a Pharmacy Assistant is required Familiarity with PharmaClik Rx or Propel Rx is an asset Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism. Ability to speak Mandarin is an asset
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per year

Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week
