We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the pharmacy operations by assisting pharmacists in dispensing medications, managing inventory, and providing exceptional patient care. This position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology and medication administration.

Duties

Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently. Manage inventory by ordering, receiving, and restocking pharmaceutical supplies. Provide excellent patient care by answering questions and addressing concerns regarding medications. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal medication management for patients. Utilize medical terminology effectively to communicate with team members and document processes.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Pharmacy Assistant is preferred. Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to pharmaceuticals and patient care. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and healthcare staff. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are essential for managing multiple tasks efficiently.
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 30 per week
