Responsibilities

Prepare and dispense medications accurately under the supervision of licensed pharmacists. Assist with medication intake, inventory management, and restocking to ensure the pharmacy and clinic is well-equipped at all times. Provide excellent patient service by answering questions, processing prescriptions, and supporting medication administration protocols. Maintain thorough documentation of medication records, patient interactions, and pharmacy activities in compliance with healthcare regulations. Support critical care and acute care units by understanding medical terminology and assisting with specialized pharmacy tasks related to patient care. Follow strict safety protocols for aseptic procedures, medication handling, and infection control to ensure patient safety at all times. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to facilitate smooth medication distribution and support patient care initiatives.

Qualifications

Prior pharmacy technician experience and exprience with Kroll would be preferable Strong understanding of medical terminology and medication administration processes. Demonstrated commitment to patient service and patient care excellence. Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments within acute care settings. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for intake, documentation, and inventory management.
