We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Assistant to support our pharmacy team in providing exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will assist with medication dispensing, patient interactions, and administrative tasks within a fast-paced healthcare environment. Duties

Assist licensed pharmacists with medication preparation and dispensing Manage inventory of pharmaceuticals and supplies, ensuring proper stock levels Provide excellent patient care by answering questions and guiding patients on medication usage Maintain accurate records of prescriptions and patient information in compliance with privacy regulations Prepare and label prescriptions accurately using medical terminology Support administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and processing insurance claims Ensure cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy area to meet safety standards Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure timely medication delivery and patient satisfaction

Experience

Previous hospital experience or pharmacy technician experience is highly desirable Strong understanding of medical terminology and medication administration procedures Experience in patient care settings is preferred but not required Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team in a dynamic environment Prior experience supporting pharmacy operations or healthcare administration is a plus
