Why this role is important?

What you'll do:


Fill a variety of prescriptions efficiently to maintain workflow


Prepare compounds, mixtures and temperature control items


Package blister pack medications


Deliver completed product based on schedules


Ensure appropriate follow up on minor issues


Synchronization and collaboration with other departments


Ensure organization of work station and inventory shelves


Maintain appropriate supplies and materials


Some involvement in prescription information management


Recognize liability on the outcomes of service provided


Commitment to promoting a workplace of inclusiveness and belonging


What you'll need:

No experience required in Pharmacy Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn Excellent oral and written communication and teamwork skills Attention to detail Ability to maneuver quickly and consistently for an extended period of time To be adaptable, you may work in different departments to support workflow Ability to problem-solve and make decisions A thorough understanding of quality assurance and delivery of service excellence Demonstrate ability to work as an effective team member Ability to prioritize work assignments

To help you stand out, any or all of the following are considered an asset:

High school diploma Kroll software experience Pharmacy experience, long-term care setting experience preferred
