Amherstview Drugs Pharmacy is seeking a dedicated and experienced
Pharmacy Assistant
to join our friendly and professional team. We are a busy, community-focused pharmacy committed to providing excellent patient care.Responsibilities:
Assist the pharmacist in preparing, packaging, and dispensing prescriptions Maintain accurate patient profiles and manage medication inventory Process billing, insurance, and third-party claims Provide exceptional customer service and support to patients Ensure all work complies with pharmacy standards and policies
Requirements:
Minimum
2 years of experience
as a Pharmacy Assistant in a community or retail pharmacy Strong communication and organizational skills Experience withKroll
software is an assetPermanent Residency status required
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with attention to detailSchedule:
Full-time (weekdays and occasional weekends)Compensation:
