Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Assistant to join our expanding team at MedicalRx Pharmacy in London on a part-time basis. Reporting to the Pharmacy Manager, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting pharmacy operations. This role involves entering, filling, and preparing both over-the-counter (OTC) and prescription medications, and contributing to the daily workflow management of patient and pharmacy tasks. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a clinical setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and update patient pharmacy profiles. Enter, fill, and prepare medications, both OTC and prescription. Handle refill requests, patient reminder calls, and other patient communications. Order and manage inventory, including supplies and medications. Collaborate with pharmacists and the clinic team to assist patients. Support various pharmacy operations, including dispensing and shipping of medications and supplies.

Education and Experience Requirements:

High School Diploma. 2-3 years of experience in an Ontario pharmacy. Proficiency with Kroll, including MedsCheck billing, administration, and recordkeeping. Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks effectively. Capable of working both independently and as part of a team. Adaptable with strong problem-solving skills. Availability: Monday to Friday, 9:30 am - 5:30 pm.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
