Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will support pharmacists in delivering exceptional patient care and ensuring the efficient operation of the pharmacy. Your contributions will be vital in managing medication distribution, assisting with patient inquiries, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Duties

Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently. Manage inventory levels, including ordering and restocking medications as needed. Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient inquiries and concerns regarding medications. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Support medication administration under the supervision of licensed pharmacists. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care. Utilize medical terminology to communicate effectively within the healthcare team.

Qualifications

Pharmacy technician experience is highly desirable. Strong understanding of medical terminology related to pharmaceuticals. Knowledge of medication administration processes. Excellent communication skills and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
