We are a group of six independently owned and operated pharmacy locations proudly serving all of Kelowna, Lake Country and the surrounding Okanagan area. Our goal is to provide our patients with all their pharmacy needs including Custom Compounding, Compliance Pill Packaging, Home Health Care and Medical Supplies.
Job description
We are looking for a full-time floating Pharmacy Assistant (32-40 hours per week),
scheduled amongst any of the four Dyck's Pharmacists in Kelowna.
As a Pharmacy Assistant you will be responsible for processing and preparing prescriptions, assisting patients in person and over the phone, cashier duties, preparation of pill packs, preparing deliveries, ordering and inventory management, and assisting the Pharmacists with daily operations of the Pharmacy.
The successful candidate will have:
Good verbal and written communication skills The ability to work both independently and as part of a team Exceptional customer service skills Good organizational skills and the ability to multi task Basic computer skills Problem solving skills Ability to commute to any of the locations, including on weekends Previous Pharmacy experience required; experience using Kroll strongly preferred
Wage is negotiable and will be based on previous pharmacy experience.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From $19.50 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 32 per week
