Job description
Education and Experience:
Graduate of a college pharmacy assistant program or a minimum of 3 years related experience
Kroll: 3 years (mandatory)
Pharmacy: 3 years (mandatory)
Qualifications and Skills:
Very strong interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.
Computer proficiency with Word, Excel spreadsheets, Kroll, and other database programs.
Communicates effectively at all levels.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Very strong attention to detail.
Accepts and responds to changing priorities.
Demonstrated ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team.
Responsibilities:
Data entry (Kroll software)
Handle drop off and pick up unit (receive and release prescriptions)
Receive in-person and telephone refill requests and record deliveries
Blister pack unit
Filing prescriptions, ordering and manage supplies
Sending and receiving drug order
Build rapport with patients to provide best possible care
Work with team of 3 to establish innovative and efficient work flow
Weekly duties: cycle counts, return to stocks
Adhere to all applicable company policies
