Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will support the pharmacy operations by assisting pharmacists in delivering high-quality patient care. Your responsibilities will include medication preparation, inventory management, and providing exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare professionals.

Duties

Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications Manage inventory by monitoring stock levels and placing orders as necessary Provide information to patients regarding medication usage and potential side effects Ensure the pharmacy environment is clean, organised, and compliant with health regulations Support medication administration under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist Handle customer inquiries and provide excellent service to enhance patient satisfaction Maintain accurate records of prescriptions and patient information

Experience

Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician is highly desirable Familiarity with medication administration processes and patient care practices Strong organisational skills with attention to detail Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.00-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
