We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications, ensuring that patients receive the highest level of care. This position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology and pharmacy practices, along with excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently. Maintain inventory of medications and supplies, ensuring stock levels are adequate. Process prescription orders, including verifying patient information and medication details. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing patient inquiries and concerns regarding medications. Ensure compliance with health regulations and pharmacy policies to maintain a safe environment. Support medication administration processes within hospital settings as needed. Document all activities accurately in accordance with pharmacy protocols.

Experience

Previous experience as a Pharmacy Assistant or Technician or in a similar role is MANDATORY Familiarity with medical terminology and pharmacy operations is essential. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are required to manage multiple tasks effectively. Excellent communication skills to facilitate interactions with patients and healthcare staff.
