If you have 2+ years of experience in the pharmacy world and a knack for speedy, accurate prescription data entry and related adjudication/billing, this could be the perfect role for you! Responsibilities
Pharmacy Assistant - Data Entry Specialist - Future opportunities
xe2x9cx94 Enter prescription orders accurately into the pharmacy information system, ensuring adherence to operational, clinical and regulatory standards.
xe2x9cx94 Verify patient information to ensure up-to-date and accurate profiles.
xe2x9cx94 Collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare staff to clarify incomplete or unclear orders and ensure safe medication practices.
xe2x9cx94 Maintain confidentiality and compliance with privacy regulations by handling all patient data securely and appropriately.
xe2x9cx94 Generate medication-related reports and documentation for clinical use, billing, and inventory tracking as required.
xe2x9cx94 Support medication order processing workflows by prioritizing tasks, assisting with administrative duties, and identifying potential discrepancies.
Qualifications
Pharmacy Assistant - Data Entry Specialist - Future opportunities
xe2x9cx94 Minimum 2 years of experience in a pharmacy setting, preferably in a non-retail (long term care, central fill or specialty pharmacy) - talent from high volume retail pharmacy settings are also very welcome to apply!
xe2x9cx94 Proficient data entry skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail in handling prescription information.
xe2x9cx94 Familiarity with pharmacy software systems; experience with Kroll is considered a very strong asset.
xe2x9cx94 Understanding of basic pharmacy terminology, brand and generic medication names, and basic pharmacological concepts is expected.
xe2x9cx94 Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
