We are seeking a meticulous and dedicated Data Entry Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various data entry tasks, including activating promotions, updating prices, assigning product categories, and maintaining accurate product descriptions. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently within a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Promo Activation:
    • Activate and manage promotional offers as per company guidelines.
    • Ensure that all promotions are accurately reflected in the system.
    • Coordinate with marketing and sales teams to verify promo details.
  • Price Changes:
    • Update and maintain product pricing in multiple databases for both grocery and restaurants
    • Verify price changes for accuracy and consistency.
    • Communicate price updates to relevant departments.
  • Category Assignments:
    • Assign products to appropriate categories based on predefined criteria.
    • Regularly review and update product categories to ensure they reflect current inventory and market trends.
    • Work with merchandising teams to refine category structures.
  • Product Description Updates:
    • Enter and update product descriptions with accurate and detailed information.
    • Ensure that descriptions adhere to brand standards and provide clear, concise information for customers.
    • Collaborate with content and product management teams for accurate product details
  • Data Verification and Accuracy:
    • Perform regular audits to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
    • Resolve discrepancies and report any issues to the relevant departments.
    • Maintain confidentiality and security of all data
  • General Administrative Support:
    • Assist with additional administrative tasks as needed.
    • Provide support to other team members during high-volume periods.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; associate\'s or bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in data entry or a similar role.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Familiarity with data management systems and tools.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Other Data related tasks as required
