Responsibilities

Assist licensed pharmacists with medication preparation and distribution Manage inventory, stock supplies, and ensure proper storage of pharmaceuticals Provide compassionate patient care by answering questions and offering guidance on medication usage Prepare prescription labels and ensure accuracy of medication orders Maintain accurate records of medication dispensing and patient interactions Support administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and processing prescriptions Uphold safety standards and comply with all regulatory requirements related to medication handling and patient privacy

Qualifications

Prior experience in a pharmacy setting is preferred Knowledge of medical terminology and medication administration procedures Strong organizational skills with attention to detail Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient interaction Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team Certification or training in pharmacy assistance or related fields is advantageous but not required

Pay: From $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 - 40 per week
