Pharmacy Assistant - Full-Time, Permanent

Location:

$18-$22 per hour

Townline I.D.A. Pharmacy & Compounding Centre is a growing and fast-paced community pharmacy in Cambridge. We are currently seeking an experienced

Pharmacy Assistant

with strong data-entry skills and a solid understanding of ODB and private insurance procedures.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have

2-3 years of pharmacy experience in Ontario

, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently and accurately in a high-volume environment.

Key Responsibilities

Provide exceptional customer service Answer phone calls and handle patient inquiries Receive and process prescription orders Prepare and fill prescriptions with accuracy Organize and file completed prescriptions Manage inventory, including ordering, returns, and expiry checks Assist with front-store merchandising and product pricing

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience

in an Ontario community pharmacy (mandatory)

Proficiency with Fillware pharmacy software

(mandatory) Strong knowledge of

ODB and private insurance rules and regulations

Ability to thrive in a

fast-paced work environment

Excellent communication, accuracy, and attention to detail
