We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will support pharmacists in dispensing medications, managing patient interactions, and maintaining pharmacy operations. Responsibilities

Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing prescription medications accurately Manage inventory by stocking shelves, checking expiration dates, and placing orders for supplies Provide excellent patient care by answering questions and offering guidance under pharmacist supervision Maintain accurate records of prescriptions and patient information in compliance with privacy regulations Support medication administration processes, ensuring proper labeling and storage of pharmaceuticals Handle administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and processing insurance claims as needed Ensure the pharmacy environment remains clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards

Experience

Previous hospital experience or pharmacy technician experience is preferred Familiarity with medical terminology related to pharmaceuticals and patient care Experience in medication administration or related healthcare functions is a plus Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Knowledge of pharmacy software systems (KROLL) is advantageous
