Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting daily pharmacy operations and ensuring high-quality patient care. This position requires a strong customer service, atention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications to patients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with prescriptions. Maintain inventory levels by monitoring stock and placing orders for medications and supplies as needed. Support the intake process by gathering patient information and verifying prescription details. Document medication dispensing accurately in patient records.
Requirements
Previous pharmacy experience is preferred. Kroll computer system knowledge is an asset. Strong understanding of medical terminology related to pharmaceuticals and patient care. Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient service. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining attention to detail.
