Job Overview

We are a one-year old pharmacy that is continuing to grow! We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Assistant to join our team Monday-Friday, 3pm-6pm for a total of 15hr a week. The ideal candidate will assist the pharmacist in preparing and distributing medications, maintaining patient records, and providing excellent customer service.

Duties

- Assist pharmacist in filling prescriptions accurately and efficiently
- Manage inventory by restocking medications and supplies
- Process insurance claims and coordinate with insurance companies (will train)
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Help in the preparation of medication orders under pharmacist supervision
- Deliveries to nearby patients as required
- Help close the pharmacy

Skills

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Good problem solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Previous experience in a community pharmacy setting is a plus, but not mandatory. We will train you!
