We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Pharmacist / Pharmacy Manager to lead our pharmacy team in providing exceptional patient care and medication management. Responsibilities
Manage daily pharmacy operations, ensuring compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards.
Supervise and mentor pharmacy staff, fostering a collaborative environment that promotes professional growth.
Oversee medication administration processes, ensuring accuracy and safety in dispensing medications.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans tailored to individual needs.
Maintain accurate records of medication inventory and manage procurement processes.
Provide education to patients regarding their medications, including potential side effects and interactions.
Stay updated on industry trends, new medications, and best practices in pharmacy management.
Qualifications
BSc of Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited institution.
Valid pharmacist license in the province of practice (Alberta).
Strong knowledge of medical terminology and acute care practices.
Experience in a clinical setting.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Proven leadership abilities with a focus on staff development and patient-centered care.
