We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. Duties
Dispense prescription medications accurately in accordance with doctor's orders and legal regulations
Provide comprehensive medication counseling to patients, including usage instructions, potential side effects, and interactions
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and review treatment plans
Monitor patient responses to medications and adjust therapy as needed in coordination with medical staff
Maintain detailed and accurate records of prescriptions, patient interactions, and inventory management
Ensure compliance with all pharmacy laws, regulations, and safety protocols
Oversee the proper storage, handling, and disposal of pharmaceuticals
Educate patients on medication adherence and health management strategies
Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff to ensure efficient workflow
Skills
Proven experience in hospital or acute care settings is highly desirable
Strong knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration, and pharmacy law
Experience working with pediatric patients and providing specialized patient care when necessary
Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients and collaborate with healthcare teams
Ability to interpret prescriptions accurately and manage complex medication regimens
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in dispensing medications
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
