Pet Sitters Needed Barks and Recreation London is an established and well-loved pet sitting and dog walking company, and we are seeking exceptional pet sitters to add to our great staff! We are especially interested in finding staff members with prior experience caring for pets. If you have ever worked in veterinary medicine, pet shelters, or with pet rescues, we want to meet you! Days: any day of the week Hours: variable - see explanation below Pay rate: $16 - $23 per hour, depending on the length of time for each individual appointment. Sitters needed in: All parts of town! Wherever you are in London, we are receiving requests for pet sitters in that area! Currently we provide service in southwest London only, so there is lots of room to expand. Please note: This is a very part-time job to start. More appointments available as business increases. Amount of work fluctuates often, especially seasonally and during holidays. If you have availability during the summer and at other peak times of year (ex. Christmas, March break) you will be able to work more often. Information regarding pet sitting visits: Visits are typically 1-2 visits per day for 3-14 days. (You\xe2\x80\x99ll provide care including but not limited to feeding, playing, plant watering, and mail pickup while clients are traveling.) Visits for pets are 30 to 60 minutes, typically between 8-10 am and 6-8 pm. Time of day may fluctuate from job to job, depending on the needs of the pet(s). Perfect for someone who wants to supplement his/her income before and after a full-time job, or for students. Requirements: -You have a car (a dog-friendly car in case of emergencies), and a smart phone (our appointments are completed and communicated to pet owners using an app). -You LOVE dogs and cats. -You feel comfortable caring for both BIG and small dogs. - You are RELIABLE - clients count on us to always be there, as scheduled, for their pets! -You can work with us long term - at least one year.
