The Opportunity

We're looking for a

Personal Lines

Underwriter

to join our team and support our personal lines team through high-quality underwriting service and sound risk decision-making.

In this role, you will take ownership of underwriting decisions, build strong relationships with customers, and contribute to profitable growth while delivering a consistent and professional experience. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, values service excellence, and enjoys balancing risk with business needs.

What You'll Do

Service Delivery

Deliver superior underwriting service and quality commitments in a "One Stop Shop" environment. Provide timely, informed, and consistent service to customers. Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with customers through clear and fair communication.

Underwriting Excellence

Take ownership of underwriting decisions while balancing risk, customer needs, and business objectives. Apply analytical thinking and confident judgment to support profitable underwriting growth. Continuously challenge the status quo to enhance service quality and customer experience.

Professional Development & Collaboration

Maintain and grow technical and soft skills through e-learning and ongoing development. Work toward or maintain CIP, FCIP, or other relevant insurance accreditations. Collaborate effectively with underwriting teams and other business units to deliver seamless service. Demonstrate high integrity and professionalism when representing Munn Insurance with colleagues, and leadership.

Qualifications:

Minimum

4 years of Personal Lines insurance experience

CIP designation

or actively working toward CIP or other recognized insurance industry accreditations

Strong

negotiation, analytical, and confident decision-making skills

Demonstrated

leadership capabilities

and professionalism

Excellent

oral and written communication skills

Strong

organization and time-management skills

with the ability to manage competing priorities

Ability to
