Job Description
Hours are every other weekend from 4 pm to 6 or 6:30 pm and casual weekday evenings. There are opportunities to pick up extra hours as they come up. Located in the West End near Polo Park.
I'm a
woman
living with disability looking for a PCA to help me live independently. I live in a house with my husband and our pets. I have excellent relationships with my current staff and am looking for someone who's energetic, has a good sense of humour and loves animals. This is a great position for students!Tasks include
Assisting with dressing, using washroom. Using a ceiling track lift for transfers. Cooking and baking Cleaning Some pet care
Qualifications
Good oral and written English skills Class 5 Driver's License is preferable
Must be able to take direction well and work efficiently.
You must be strong and flexible enough to assist with adjusting me in my wheelchair and using a lift. Can work unsupervised in some situations. You must have strong verbal communication skills. You must be comfortable assisting with all types of personal care. You must be reliable and responsive when contacted about shifts. You must have basic cooking skills. You must be comfortable with animals and their care, including litter box changes, small animal cleanup and dog pad changesJob Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $18.00 per hour
