We are currently recruiting for a Permit Coordinator / Dispatch Administrator to join our operations team in our Acheson office. This individual will have an opportunity to join a team that meets customer transportation requests in Western Canada.

Your success will be determined by your ability to:
  • Procure transportation and 3rd party permits for over dimensional loads.
  • Ensure correct information is entered into load dispatches.
  • Cross-reference tickets and driver timecards, ensure billing practices are followed and meet customer service requirements.
  • Maintain PO\xe2\x80\x99s, service requests, permits etc.
  • Ensure that all personnel have the required safety courses and certifications.
  • Assist with safety orientations and coordinate training for all new and existing personnel.
  • Liaise with the HS&E and Training division to continually enhance the transportation safety and compliance systems.
  • Maintain the document management processes necessary for ensuring record keeping compliance.
  • Assist with administration processes and documentation as required.
  • Enter invoices in internal systems and respective client data bases as required.
  • Submit invoices to customers by their preferred method, ensuring all invoices are approved both internally and externally as required by customer contracts.
  • Ensuring that all AR is complete for month end close process.
  • Complete special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • 1-3 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in a similar role.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver assignments on time.
  • Ability to communicate and interact effectively with all levels of staff and customers, both verbally and in writing.
  • High attention to detail and demonstrates good judgment.
  • Strong computer skills. ( Word and Excel)
  • Effective time management skills with the flexibility to work the hours required to get the job done during peak times.
