Basic Function:
The basic function of the Dispatch Administrator is to coordinate the flow of paperwork for invoicing.
Reporting Relationship:
The Dispatch Administrator reports to the General Manager.
Requirements:
Education: Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience: Minimum 2 years administrative experience. Experience using Microsoft applications. An understanding of financial processes and familiarity of trucking or oilfield industry would be an asset.
Abilities: High attention to detail and accuracy, dependable, ability to work independently and have good communication and customer service skills.
Class 5 Driver's License is required.
Duties Include (but are not limited to):
- Collect, process and prepare trucking tickets for invoicing.
- Work directly with Accounts Receivable and Dispatch team to verify ticket information, ensure accurate paperwork and organization for invoicing.
- Support other accounting functions as needed.
- Communication with all employees.
- Preparing Master Tickets for bulk invoicing.
- Emails and scanning for ticket approval.
- Compile, copy, scan, sort and file paperwork as well as save digital copies.
- Operate computers, photocopiers, fax machines and other office related equipment.
- Review files, records and other documents to obtain information to respond to requests.
- Maintain and update filing and database systems.
- Attend all safety meetings and general employee meetings.
- Promote a positive image of Tidy Trucking Ltd at all times.
- Encourage a positive safety culture.
- Lead by example and have a positive attitude.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00-$27.00 per hour
