People Strategy Lead

Job Definition:




As the People Strategy Lead, you will be a key member of the Marketing & Sales Enablement team, responsible for shaping and executing the people strategy that supports our high-performing culture. Your focus will be on recruitment and performance management--ensuring we attract, retain, and grow exceptional talent aligned with our brand and business goals. You will collaborate closely with team leads, business unit leaders, and executive leadership to build a people-first environment that drives engagement, accountability, and excellence.

Key Responsibilities:



Talent Acquisition



Lead recruitment strategy across WBM - identifying top talent that align with our values and culture. Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements and candidate profiles that align with team goals and culture. Work closely with Executive Leadership to build out new organizational capabilities that adapts to our clients changing needs Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline through proactive outreach, networking, and employer branding initiatives. Bring forward ideas to advance our Recruitment Strategy and ensure we continue to attract and retain top talent within the technology industry in Western Canada.

Performance Management



Design and implement performance frameworks that support continuous feedback, goal setting, and career development. Work with BU leaders to facilitate quarterly and annual performance reviews, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and individual growth. Support team leads in coaching conversations and development planning.

Culture & Engagement



Champion a culture of recognition, inclusion, and collaboration across the team. Lead initiatives that enhance employee experience, including engagement surveys, team rituals, and internal communications. Act as a trusted advisor and sounding board for team members and leaders.

Collaboration & Enablement



Work closely with the Enablement team to ensure people strategies are aligned with business enablement goals.

Qualifications:



Proven experience in recruitment, talent development, or HR business partnering. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels. Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to execution. Passion for building high-performing, people-centric teams.
