Job Description

Registered Nurse (RN)WeeCare Pediatric Home Health Care is currently hiring Casual RN's. If you enjoy working as an independent contractor in a home care environment, this is the job for you!!The shifts are one weekend per month. Shifts are 12 hours and there are three available.Duties

  • Administer and document medications as prescribed
  • Monitor and maintain the safekeeping of drugs and narcotics
  • Maintain child's records and required documentation in accordance with CNO standards
  • Assist the child with personal care, hygiene, and activities of daily living
  • Observe and report on changes in child's condition to parent/guardian
  • Assist with ambulation, mobilization, transferring, and adaptive aids
  • Demonstrate understanding of child's needs and maximize abilities
  • Provide cognitive, social, emotional, and psychological support to the child/parent/guardian
  • Respond to client/parent/guardian concerns and ensure appropriate action is taken
  • Assist in maintaining a safe and cleanly environment, including child's equipment and belongings
  • Notify supervisor of any concerns impacting child's safety
  • Complete all other tasks as assigned
Qualifications
  • Licensed and in good standing with the CNO
  • Experience working with pediatrics
  • Current BLS certification
  • Vulnerable Sector check within the last six months
  • Professional liability insurance
  • Valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle

  • 12 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Night shift
  • Weekends only
