WeeCare Pediatric Home Health Care is currently hiring a Part-time Pediatric Registered Nurse in Dundas, Ontario.Shifts are Mon-Fri 1700-2200.Note: Must have received the full series of a COVID-19 vaccine or combination of COVID-19 vaccines approved by Health Canada (e.g., two doses of a two dose vaccine series or one dose of a single dose vaccine series); AND have received the final dose of the COVID-19 vaccine at least 14 days prior to the official start date of hire.Purpose
As a Pediatric Registered Nurse with WeeCare, your role is about more than just supporting the medical needs of patients; its also about providing peace and comfort in their homes. Duties

• Administer and document medications as prescribed
• Monitor and maintain the safekeeping of drugs and narcotics
• Maintain child's records and required documentation in accordance with CNO standards
• Assist the child with personal care, hygiene, and activities of daily living
• Observe and report on changes in childs condition to parent/guardian
• Assist with ambulation, mobilization, transferring, and adaptive aids
• Demonstrate understanding of childs needs and maximize abilities
• Provide cognitive, social, emotional, and psychological support to the child/parent/guardian
• Respond to client/parent/guardian concerns and ensure appropriate action is taken
• Assist in maintaining a safe and cleanly environment, including childs equipment and belongings
• Notify supervisor of any concerns impacting childs safety
• Complete all other tasks as assigned

Qualifications

• Licensed and in good standing with the CNO
• Experience working with pediatrics
• Current BLS certification
• Vulnerable Sector check within the past 12 months
• Professional liability insurance
• Valid drivers license and reliable vehicle
