We are seeking a compassionate and skilled
Pediatric Psychotherapist
to join our team, with a focus on counseling children and adolescents experiencing
anxiety, ADHD, and related mental health concerns
.
Key Responsibilities
Provide individual psychotherapy and counseling to pediatric patients with anxiety, ADHD, and other behavioral or emotional concerns.
Conduct intake assessments, treatment planning, and progress evaluations tailored to each child's needs.
Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions (e.g., CBT, play therapy, mindfulness, family-focused strategies).
Collaborate with pediatricians, psychiatrists, psychologists, and allied health professionals within our multi-disciplinary team.
Provide parent and family counseling, including psychoeducation and strategies to support children at home and school.
Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential clinical records in the EMR system.
Participate in case conferences, supervision, and professional development sessions as required.
Contribute to the development of mental health programming and resources within the organization.
Qualifications
Master's degree in Psychotherapy, Counseling, Clinical Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
Registration in good standing with the
College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO)
,
Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW)
, or equivalent regulatory body.
Demonstrated clinical experience working with children, adolescents, and families, specifically in the areas of anxiety and ADHD.
Proficiency in evidence-based therapies (e.g., CBT, DBT skills, behavioral therapy, mindfulness-based approaches).
Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
Commitment to ongoing professional learning and best practice in pediatric mental health.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $110.00-$120.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 per week
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Mississauga, ON
