Duties
? Assist occupational therapists in implementing treatment plans tailored to clients' individual needs
? Work closely with
neurodiverse children
, supporting their sensory, motor, and daily living skill development under the supervision of an occupational therapist
? Support clients and families through
activities of daily living (ADLs)
such as dressing, grooming, feeding, and self-care tasks
? Implement
fine motor activities
to improve coordination, handwriting, and hand strength
? Educate patients and families on adaptive techniques and assistive equipment
? Document patient progress and communicate observations to the occupational therapist
? Foster a positive and supportive therapy environment
Requirements
? Associate degree from an accredited
Occupational Therapy Assistant
program
? Experience working with
neurodiverse children
(e.g., Autism, ADHD, sensory processing disorders) (preferred)* ? Knowledge of
ADL and fine motor therapy techniques
? CPR certification (preferred)* ? Strong interpersonal and communication skills
? Compassionate, patient-focused, and team-oriented
