Overview

Looking for a Pediatric Assistant/Nurse to work remotely with a pediatrician, to help with triaging documents, summarizing them, and communicate important results to families. In this vital role, you will provide compassionate, expert support to pediatric patients and their families from the comfort of your home. Your expertise in patient care, physiology, and medical documentation will help ensure children receive the highest quality of care and attention.

This position is ideal for an IMG or a nurse with pediatric experience.

Responsibilities

Work under the supervision of a pediatrician to review documents and results Communicate important results and plans to families Maintain accurate and thorough medical documentation, including medical records and progress notes, in compliance with HIPAA regulations Communicate clearly with patients' families, providing guidance on medication administration, symptom management, and health education Utilize medical terminology effectively to document symptoms, diagnoses, and treatment plans with precision Support healthcare providers by preparing necessary medical records and ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and compliant with privacy standards

Experience

Proven experience in patient care or nursing roles, preferably within pediatrics or a related healthcare setting Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and electronic health record (EHR) systems Understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure privacy and security of patient information Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children's families and healthcare teams Ability to handle medical documentation accurately and efficiently under minimal supervision Prior remote or telehealth experience is a plus but not required; training will be provided for specific protocols

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $23.00-$26.00 per hour
