Our client is global organization with a fantastic corporate culture, located in Toronto-West! They are looking to add a Payroll Manager to their team and offer a flexible work environment. The Payroll Manager will oversee a small team and manage full-cycle payroll processing for multi-provincial Canadian employees to ensure employees are paid accurately and in a timely manner. The ideal candidate will possess a CPM designation, strong leadership experience and prior experience in a complex National payroll environment. In this role you will report to HR and be responsible for:

  • Managing full cycle multi-provincial payroll processing on a weekly and bi-weekly basis
  • Lead a team of payroll specialists, providing coaching and day-to-day assistance
  • Manage and oversee the year end process to ensure year-end audit requirements are met
  • Lead continuous improvement payroll projects
  • Other responsibilities and duties, as assigned
TMGMS

Job Requirements:
  • CPM designation
  • 5+ years of multi-provincial payroll management experience
  • 3+ years of people leadership experience with the ability to effectively supervise team members in a team environment
  • Payroll accounting experience
  • HR management
  • Strong organizational skills, time management skills, attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong systems skills - Advanced MS Excel
  • Ceridian Dayforce experience required
